This film marks the collaboration of the two Hawkeye superheroes, Jeremy Renner and Scarlet Witch, Elizabeth Olsen outside the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Wind River appeared very emotional and riveting, and became one of the strong candidates for the Oscar nominations next year, mainly in the script writing category and acting. Wind River tells the story of Cory Lambert (Jeremy Renner), a hunter of predators and experts looking for traces of finding a corpse identified by Natalie Hanson (Kelsey Asbille) in the middle of a snow field 9 km from a nearby building. Natalie’s body was found barefooted with indications of rape and ill-treatment which made her case the FBI’s jurisdiction. FBI agent Jane Banner (Elizabeth Olsen) assigned to handle this case is faced with the reality of the difficulty of the terrain due to heavy snow, hilly terrain and snow storms that often appear life-threatening. Jane’s collaboration with Cory became very crucial in solving the case, even though Cory had a dark past and was very connected to the case.

On paper, if it wasn’t Sheridan who wrote the scenario based on this premise, then this film would not be as strong as what is shown now. Sheridan’s ability is evident here. Wind River is strong in plot, acting, and emotions that were built since the beginning of the film. Several times the scene established landscape of hills and thick snow canyons is able to give an idea of how cold and terrible the Wind River region in the state of Wyoming. Movie Review
With a mysterious background of murder cases that can provide tension throughout most of the film, Sheridan is also able to roll a subplot of true stories of history, tradition, culture and portraits of the lives of American Indians where they are exiled and breed in this very hard and cold region. At the end of the film Sheridan even wrote a concerning fact about how alienated the Indians in the United States. As if adding to the feelings of the audience’s emotions that have been stirred in such a way at the climax of a very dramatic film.
Once the film is emotional, it can not be avoided tightness in the chest, pain in the heart and teary eyes that can emerge if we absorb the hidden message in this film, namely the stories of those who are wasted and how they survive in isolation and become figures who is tough in life in an area that is very difficult to build and live life. Like Cory’s message to Jane towards the end of the film “Luck don’t live out here (in Wind River)”. Top Movie
